Privacy
BoulderMaxxing is a self-hosted training tracker. Here's exactly what it stores and what it does with it.
Your email
Your email address is used only to sign you in. We will never email you — no newsletters, no marketing, no notifications, nothing. It is never sold or shared with anyone.
Your password
Passwords are stored as a salted bcrypt hash, never in plain text. We can't read your password, and neither can anyone else with access to the database.
Your training data
The details you enter — current and target grade, training days, available equipment, and your session logs — are used solely to build and adapt your plan. They are not used for any other purpose and are never sold or shared.
Analytics
We use a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible) to count page views in aggregate. It sets no cookies, collects no personal information, and never follows you across other sites — we can see that a page was viewed, not who viewed it.
Supporting the project
Chipping in through the “Buy me a coffee” link is entirely optional. Payments are processed by a third-party platform (Buy Me a Coffee) under their own terms and privacy policy — your name, email, and card details go to them, never to this server. BoulderMaxxing stores no payment or financial information, and a donation isn't tied to your account.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile and every plan, session, and log tied to it. This cannot be undone.
Data retention
Your data is kept only while your account exists. When you delete it, it is removed from the live database immediately. Daily database backups are retained for 14 days and then automatically deleted, so any remaining copy of your data in a backup is gone within two weeks.
Hosting
BoulderMaxxing is self-hosted, so your data lives on the server running this instance rather than with a third-party service.
